About the Author:

Rosemary Frederickson has a doctorate from the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences from the University of Texas as Dallas with a specialization in language and cognition. Her previous publications appear in scientific journals: Behavioral Brain Research, Neuroscience Methods, and The Journal of Experimental Psychology. She has completed a novella, Dog Shooter,  a screen script, and is currently working on a book of short stories that explore the human psyche through fiction.

A native Texan, she has traveled extensively in Europe and lived abroad in Denmark. She has worked as a research scientist, college-level writing instructor, and most recently in School Psychology, evaluating children for social, emotional, and behavioral differences. Besides pursuing an understanding of language and brain / behavior relationships, her other passions are tennis, art, and a life-long love of the French language. She lives with her husband and a cat, Slice, in a suburb of Dallas, Texas.
